Terms and requirements for competitors
Works in the first nomination should be devoted to the following topics: Project "Avatar A", "Avatar B", "Avatar C" and "Avatar D" ("Body-hologram"), the transfer of consciousness to a non- biological carrier, the victory over death through advancedtechnologies.
Requirements
We would ask you to create in your drawings a positive image of the future "Neo-Human" which will convey our vision of an alternative carrier for human consciousness.
- The "2045 Initiative" is a peaceful scientific project, therefore illustrations which depict robots with weapons will be rejected.
- We believe that "Neo-Humans" will have more functional, agile and stronger bodies. They will have many additional features that will allow them to move with the speed of aircraft without external propulsion mechanisms or to reach the ocean floor without diving suits. They will be able to live in the open air without discomfort, explore outer space etc.
However, a Neo-Human will not become a robot with a 'metallic' look. During the first stageof artificial human body development it will only differ from a real one in that it’s humanistic physical features will be perfect, it will possess an elegant shape and display elements of embedded gadgets and devices.
Submissions in nomination category 2 should contain an illustration that draws attention to the topic of the cybernetic immortality and conveys the possibilities that the transference of human consciousness to a more capable carrier would entail.
